Wine Cellar Doors
Tell Len about your projectFrom the brief to the built work.
- The challenge
- The cellar entry needed an enclosure that fit the arched opening while keeping the collection visible from the hall.
- Breuder’s work
- Breuder combined custom steel frames, tempered glass, layered bronze patina, and hardware detailing.
- The result
- The finished doors frame the wine collection and connect the cellar opening to the surrounding interior.
This wine cellar entry called for doors that fit the architecture and kept the collection visible. The arched opening shaped the design of the steel frames, glazing, and hardware.
Breuder handled the custom metalwork, glass integration, finish work, and hardware detailing. Tempered glass provides a view into the cellar. A layered bronze patina gives the steel its warm finish, while the frame and hardware are detailed together.
The wide photographs show how the door set sits within the surrounding room. Close views record the arched top, frame finish, glazing, and hardware—the details that make this a focused custom metalwork project.
